Stage 2
Day 2 complete, 42 miles walked!
I met Archie in Linlithgow at the end of a great afternoon’s walk. Delighted to have saved a swan with a broken wing along the way (notifying the Scottish SPCA), he is doing well. He is very tired and has very sore feet and shoulders, but is in great spirits and thrilled to be seeing light at the end of the tunnel! Only 21 miles to go, starting at Linlithgow tomorrow morning (near the rail station, Gr NS 881 791 at 0900hrs) via Ratho (Baird Road and canal junction Gr NT 139 709 approx 1330hrs) and on to Lochrin Basin in Edinburgh. All welcome to greet him back in Edinburgh at approx 1700hrs.
