Day 4 of the challenge and in keeping with my promise to my oncology team I have kept it a little more gentle as I did certainly feel yesterday’s exertions this morning. So today consisted of some more pill popping, rhody bashing and even managed to polish and perform for you a tune.
Before I go on about the rest of today I would like to say a huge thank you to the manager and team of McLaren Leisure Centre for sharing my Beat the Beast Challenge facebook page on their page. It is a fantastic call for support. Do please have a look at it and if you own or belong to a business or community that has a facebook page do please consider doing the same thing for me and help me to spread the word and raise some money for these most excellent charities. Thank you McLaren!!
Rhody bashing was great. Got there without any embarrassing overtaking manoeuvres from other cyclists, weather stayed dry and met up with Mike the Ranger of Argaty Red Kites. Always a pleasure Mike.
Organ tune number two to follow shortly but I promise you I was actually playing the tune. It is a little out of focus but the sound is good. It just looks as if I am sitting there and listening to a recording of a tune rather than actually playing a tune. I promise I was playing. It took me a few takes to get it right!!!
The great news is that the challenge is starting to grow in new supporters which is fantastic and thank you for coming to join me on my journey so to help you to understand who I am supporting and how to sponsor me I will include the info at the end of each Day’s entry.
